MALCOLM'S ILLNESS
We are back to normal at the JAG on Wednesday 8th September. Malcolm was hospitalised following a minor heart attack. He had a procedure done and is fine and now out of hospital. He will be in attendance again at Wythall and the JAG this week but taking it a bit easy for a while. Thank you for all the messages of concern and support.
THE JAG
We are very pleased to announce that state of the art air conditioning has been installed at the Jag (our Sutton Coldfield venue). It's effectively climate control which provides the perfect dancing environment at all times of the year. We've only had it a short time but it is proving to be brilliant.
LIGHTING
In an effort to improve venue atmosphere, we have invested in some new lighting. The lights provide a powerful flood of different colours which, with some of the surround lighting turned off , is particularly effective. The difference it has made to both venues is amazing.
FREESTYLES
We have decided to revive the fun class at our freestyles. We ran them for some time without a class but on balance, as long as they are a bit different and are kept reasonably short, we feel they add an essential dimension to the evening. We are also giving each one a theme (entirely optional of course) to be announced a few weeks in advance of each date.
