Ceroc South Birmingham is a family run business, which tends to appeal to a lot of our members. It all began in Feburary 2000 when Andy and Malcolm bought the Franchise for Wythall from Mark Tughan. Then in May 2003 they decided to venture out and set up the Sutton Coldfield venue at The Jaguar Sports and Social Club in Castle Vale. Both venues have had continued success over the years they've been running with both venues regularly pulling in over a hundred members a night.
Andy Bragg first started Ceroc in 1995 after being introduced by a university friend, and not long after became a Ceroc D.J at The Glee club in Birmingham. In 1998 he was approached by Mark Tughan to go through training to become a Ceroc Teacher, and is now a widely respected teacher throughout the world of Ceroc.
Malcolm and Betty Bragg first started Ceroc in 1997, after being persuaded by Andy to attend an opening of a new venue that he was DJ-ing at. They attended, with fear I may add, and since then have been hooked. It was some years after when Andy informed his father of his interest in buying Wythall and they decided to set up a partnership. Betty is now a Taxi Dancer at Wythall and Sutton venues and has been for the past couple of years.
Lou Bragg first started Ceroc at the same night as her parents, in 1997, and like them became completely hooked. About 6 months after joining she was asked to become a Taxi Dancer at that venue, and then in April of 1999 was enrolled as a Ceroc D.J at the same venue. She now D.J's at 5 different venues a week, also demonstrating with her brother at the Sutton venue.
